Tối ngày 07/01, tại Nhà Văn hóa Sinh viên TP. Hồ Chí Minh, Ban Bí thư Trung ương Đoàn, Ban Thư ký Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam tổ chức Chương trình Kỷ niệm 74 năm Ngày truyền thống học sinh, sinh viên và Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam (09/01/1950 - 09/01/2024), tuyên dương danh hiệu “Học sinh 3 tốt”, “Học sinh 3 rèn luyện”, “Sinh viên 5 tốt” cấp Trung ương năm học 2022 - 2023, trao giải thưởng Sao Tháng Giêng năm 2023.
Dự chương trình có đồng chí Nguyễn Văn Nên - Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Bí thư Thành ủy TP. Hồ Chí Minh; đồng chí Bùi Quang Huy - Ủy viên dự khuyết Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư thứ nhất Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đoàn; đồng chí Nguyễn Minh Triết - Bí thư Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đoàn, Chủ tịch Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam cùng các đồng chí đại diện các Ban, Bộ, ngành, đoàn thể Trung ương và TP. Hồ Chí Minh, các đồng chí Thường trực Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam, đại diện các tỉnh, thành đoàn, Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam các tỉnh, thành phố.
Tại Chương trình đã tái hiện truyền thống phong trào học sinh, sinh viên và của tổ chức Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam từ khói lửa chiến tranh đến dựng xây đất nước ngày nay thông qua tổ khúc nghệ thuật đầy xúc động và tự hào. Chủ tịch Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam Nguyễn Minh Triết thay mặt Ban Bí thư Trung ương Đoàn, Ban Thư ký Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam đọc diễn văn ôn lại truyền thống học sinh, sinh viên Việt Nam.

Dịp này, Ban Bí thư Trung ương Đoàn tuyên dương 99 học sinh tiêu biểu đạt danh hiệu “Học sinh 3 tốt”, 30 học sinh đạt danh hiệu “Học sinh 3 rèn luyện”; Ban Thư ký Trung ương Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam tuyên dương 74 sinh viên tiêu biểu đạt danh hiệu “Sinh viên 5 tốt”, 29 “Tập thể Sinh viên 5 tốt” cấp Trung ương năm học 2022 - 2023 và 96 cá nhân đạt Giải thưởng “Sao Tháng Giêng” năm 2023.

On the evening of January 7, at the Student Culture House in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union, the Central Secretariat of the Vietnamese Students’ Association. organized the 74th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students, College Student and Students Association (09/01/1950 - 09/01/2024), awarded the titles of “Student of 3 merits”,Well-rounded Student in 3 Aspects.", “Student of 5 merits” at the Central level of the academic year 2022 - 2023, awarding the Star of the January awards in 2023.
The program is attended by Comrade Nguyen Van Nen - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Comrade Bui Quang Huy - Standing Committee Member of the Central Party Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association, and comraders representing Central Committees, Ministries, Departments, youth organizations of the Central Committee and Ho Chi Minh City, standing members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association, representatives from provinces, Youth Union, and the Vietnam Students' Association of provinces and cities.
The program vividly portrayedthe historical journey movements of Students, College Students and the Vietnam Student Association.The emotionally charged and pride-inducing artistic performance beautifully narrated the story of war's devastation and the ongoing process of nation-building. Chairman Nguyen Minh Triet, representing the Central Youth Union Secretariat on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association, delivered a speech revisiting the traditions of Vietnamese students and youth with eloquence and grace.
On this special occasion, the Central Youth Union proudly acknowledges and honors 99 exemplary students for achieving the title of "Well-rounded Student in 3 Aspects.". The Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association commends 74 excellent students who have received the title of "Student of 5 Merits," along with 29 organizes that archived the title of "Students of 5 Merits" at the Central level for the year 2022-2023. aMoreover, the noteworthy achievements of 96 individuals have been celebrated with the prestigious "January Star Award" for the year 2023.
